IMPORTANT UPDATES

  • The School Day:  School begins at 8:15 a.m. each day and ends at 3:15 p.m.  Any student arriving after 8:30 a.m. must report to the Main Office for a late pass.  Teachers will not accept students into class without a late pass. Additional time is wasted by going to the class and being sent back to the office by the teacher.  Make every effort to be on time daily.

  • Morning Drop Off:  All vehicles must enter through the Main Gate and exit through the side gates.  No entry is permitted through the side gates. Parents may begin dropping students off at 7:30 a.m.  Please do not leave your child outside if the gate is closed prior to 7:30 a.m.  Parents may drop students at the park in front of the 100 wing, or in front of the Auditorium if there is no school bus present.  Please move quickly if the school bus is waiting to offload. Parents are not permitted to drive onto the interior of our campus at any time.

  • Afternoon Pick Up:  Parents or guardians who wish to pick up their children at the end of the day are asked to do so at 3:15 p.m.  While an emergency might prevent you from being on time, please make it a regular practice to pick up your child on time. All pick-ups are at the front park. Your child will be brought to you by a School Monitor or Para-Professional. Parents are not permitted to come onto the campus at the end of the day.  Please remain at your vehicle.

  • School Nutrition Program:  Students are encouraged to participate in our nutritious Breakfast Program and are required to participate in the Lunch Program. The only exception would be for those students who bring a bagged lunch from home.
    • 7:45 a.m. - 8:10 a.m. Breakfast for all students
    • 11:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.  Lunch Period for PreK – 3rd
    • 11:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. Lunch Period for 7th and 8th Grades
    • 12:15 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.  Lunch Period for 4th – 6th Grade

  • Visiting the Campus:  Parents are only allowed on campus to meet with a teacher when an appointment has been scheduled. This is to avoid interruptions to instructional time. If you have an urgent concern, you may request to see your child’s guidance counselor or grade level administrator.
